Preparation & Policies
Wash hair thoroughly with a clarifying shampoo before your appointment. Ensure the scalp is clean and completely free from product build-up.
Arrive with hair blown out or safely straightened. This allows the stylist to see true length, partition cleanly, and fit extensions perfectly.
Strictly avoid leave-in oils, heavy serums, or butter-based styling products. Slippery hair prevents bonds and micro-rings from anchoring properly.
Aftercare & Maintenance
Brush 2–3x daily with an extension-safe loop brush, holding roots to prevent tension. Sleep in a loose braid or high pineapple using a silk or satin bonnet.
Cleanse the scalp gently every 7–10 days with sulfate-free shampoo. Condition mid-lengths to ends only — never apply heavy oils or conditioners directly on bonds. Dry bonds completely.
Always apply heat protectant. Keep flat irons and curling wands at least 2 inches away from keratin bonds.
Never go to sleep with wet hair, never pull or pick at bonds, and never attempt DIY removal.
Schedule check-ups and safe removal every 8–12 weeks.

TrueBlend Hair Studio is an Eindhoven-based atelier dedicated entirely to textured and curly hair extensions. Every install begins with a texture match — because a bond is only invisible when the curl pattern, density, and shrinkage behave exactly like your own hair.
Our work centers on scalp health and longevity: micro and nano bonds, precise sectioning geometry, controlled tension, and safe organic removal. What we teach in the TrueBlend Academy is the same standard we practice at the chair.
